On Saturday 4th October 1997 I visited Farrand and Rene at their original Bonsai Center in Voorschoten.
They turned the ground floor of the house and the garden in Voorschoten into a Bonsai Center.
In August 1998 they moved to Opheusden in the East of the Netherlands.
In 2002 they closed their bonsai centre to concentrate on their bonsai magazine 'Bonsai Focus'.
